Card Wars - Adventure Time: Tips & Tricks
Card Wars is a card game that Finn and Jake play in the episode "Card Wars." The rules to the game are "super complicated," and it took Jake two hours to explain the basics of them to Finn. Now Cartoon Network lanched this game as an app to play with you iPad. In this game, you will experience different creatures under card system bounded by spells to beat bosses and unlock more card in to the play. Here are some tips for Card Wars to help you with this hottest App.
Build a Strong Deck
Don't go overboard and pack your deck with nothing but warrior/monster cards. Make sure keep your deck stocked with a nice mix of spell and building cards, too. Magic cards grant you several game-changing abilities (example - the Volcano spell allows you choose any of your opponent's lanes and burn down all the buildings/creatures on that lane). The same goes for buildings (example - the Comfy Cave building card heals at least 1 point of health for each creature you control at the start of your turn). Some of the spell cards you'll easily access are Teleport, UFO Abduction and Wizard Migraine. As for easy to find building cards, there's Astral Fortress, Corn Dome and Sand Castle.
Despite not being mandatory to destroy all creature cards in order to defeat your opponent, creature cards contain loot, which traduce in new cards you can add to your deck, so if you can, you should always try to destroy those cards. Only 4 ofthe same card are allowed in one deck at a time.
Try to Defeat All Your Rival's Monster Cards on the Field for More Loot
You don't need to destroy all of your opponent's current creatures in play, but it does pay off for you in the long run if you do. When you take out certain monster cards, you might luck out and obtain loot (example - newer, rarer cards). It pays off to take out even more rarer monster cards so you can obtain some rare cards of your own.

Three Star
Mastering any level requires completing the objectives that are asked of you on the current level you're playing. Not only will you get some extra gold and loot in the form of cards, you'll be awarded more XP as you tackle a level three times. Try to get as many three star rating on each stage, since you'll get a free gem for doing so.
If you’re having a lot of trouble beating higher levels, go back to previous stages and try to complete the quests. If you can get three stars, you’ll earn gems, which are handy for earning new cards from chests, as well as level up and find new cards in regular chests. Those new cards may very well help you bust through your higher-level challenge.
Hero Ability
Activate hero abilities as soon as possible. You get to use your hero ability every three turns, so you want to make sure to pop them as early as possible so you can put some time into the cooldown for the next one soon. Sometimes it’s not entirely practical, such as using Jake’s ability for extra magic points when you have nothing to cast or floop, but at the very least, don’t forget you have the abilities. They can often make or break a round. Various hero abilities usually mean the difference between victory and defeat.

Use Gem to Open Chest
There are a few sneaky freemium-style timers built into Card Wars, but don’t be fooled into burning up your gems for more hearts to keep playing or to retry lost matches. Instead, use your gems to open chests and get rare cards. Though it may be easy to default to the Algebraic chest since it has higher-rarity cards, that doesn't necessarily translate to in-game value. Once you have a few heavy-hitting creatures from an Algebraic Chest, you can probably get by on the lower-grade Cool Chest.
Big Use of Weaker Cards
Don't throw away your weaker cards as soon as you get access to more powerful ones. The key to winning lies in keeping all your lanes full so you don't get a direct hit from your opponent. You'll need to stack your lanes with weaker cards just so you can stay protected by them. Your weaker cards will turn into your deck's sacrificial lambs, so keep at leas three or four weak ones in order to stay in the game.

Battle Wheel
It’s common for a lot of players to turn off the battle wheel since it’s fairly difficult to use effectively, but with practice, your timing improves and gives even the weakest creatures a chance to deflect attacks from heavy-hitters. Some players even consider this advantage as cheating, but I’d say it’s worth it. Besides, this adds a bit of twitchy excitement to the standard board game formula.
